Tom Smith -- Principal, Senior Partner

Mr. Smith has accumulated 27 years of experience as marketing director with a national team working with business owners. Throughout the 27 years, Mr. Smith has been actively involved in the acquiring and transferring of Businesses and Business Assets.
Mr. Smith was affiliated with the Business Brokers Network for 12 years and certified as a business broker by the Business Brokers Network prior to the formation of Transaction Advisors. Mr. Smith has been used by the Business Brokers Network as a Consultant and Instructor for new Business Broker Network Affiliates over the years.

In 2005 Mr. Smith was awarded the "Leader in the Field" designation by the Business Brokers Network for outstanding achievement and a leadership role among his colleagues.

Mr. Smith has extensive background in the Oil & Gas industry, managing drilling related operations, has enjoyed ownership of an oilfield service Company and has been involved in the transaction of several Oil & Gas service companies during the span of 15 years as a Business Broker.

Jeff Adam -- Managing Director, Dallas-Fort Worth Office

Mr. Adam has 35 years of entrepreneurial and business experience as founder, owner and leader of manufacturing and service business in multiple industries including oilfield services, chemical recycling, oilfield steel manufacturing/fabrication, consulting, mergers & acquisitions, healthcare, accounting and trade contracting. Mr Adam has started 12 companies in Canada and US. In 1989, he co-invented a process to recycle waste ink that won multiple awards and launched 2 businesses.

Mr. Adam has been Past President or Director of industry and civic organizations including Carleton University Engineering Society, Arlington Southwest Rotary Club, Institute of Certified Business Counselors, Business Brokers Network, Grey Bruce Regional Health Center and others.

Mr. Adam is an industry leader, having performed 1000's of business valuations and personally sold 350+ businesses. He has been published internationally and has been a distinguished speaker at numerous national & international conferences since 1977 in environmental, engineering, print, business management, business brokerage, mergers & acquisitions and philanthropic fields.

Seth Smith -- Principal, Junior Partner

Seth has been a part of Transaction Advisors as a family owned Company since its inception and in association with Business Brokerage since 1998. He has assisted in various aspects of the Company and has contributed to its ongoing success. Over the years he has gained a keen knowledge and understanding of the core values and integrity that comprise the key elements of its success. He understands the importance of creating a win-win situation in every transaction between the buyer and seller of a business or business opportunity.

Shelley E. Kunes -- Associate Broker

With more than 15 years of experience in sales, marketing and the business brokerage field, Ms. Kunes is specializing in business marketing with the utmost in confidentiality. As a Transaction Advisors team member, her goal is to achieve the highest expectations of all our clients.Having been a business manager herself of a national restaurant franchise she has obtained the knowledge and expertise of communicating effectively with clients and has achieved advanced problem solving skills.
